Happy Veterans Day- Local Real Estate Office Honors Veterans Today and Everyday

Veterans Day is a special day to reflect and honor those who have served or currently serving in the United States Armed Forces. Veterans of World War I and II, Vietnam, Iraq and Afghanistan have given so much preserving our freedoms and liberties that we wanted to do something to show our appreciation for our past and present veterans.

Our Omemorial wallffice has such a close bond with our veterans and wanted to do something to show our appreciation year round. On my recent trip to Omaha, Broker/Owner of BHHS Select Properties Deb Colburn said, “I was moved when I saw a wall that said “Freedom Isn’t Free” the wall had pictures of their agents whom served or currently serving in the military…but not just the agents, it was agents family members who served…There was just something about it that really hit home and made me realize just how great it is to live in this country and it’s  because of these Veterans that we still have the freedom we experience everyday of our lives…”

So today on November 11th, 2014 our Military Wall (pictured above) honoring our Past, Present and Future Veterans was brought to life in our office and will show appreciation today and always to those who have served.

As a company Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Select Properties recognized last year we needed to do our part to pay it forward to these veterans.  We implemented Select Military Scholarship Program for Veterans and their significant others. This program is designed to help make the transition from military work life to civilian work life a little easier for our Veterans. Our program offers a bundled set of services to assist Veterans and their spouses with the costs and their entry into the field of real estate. For more information visit- http://bhhsselectstl.com/careers/military-scholarship-program

This year we have also joined the fundraiser to Adopt A Vet! For All the Holidays.  If you want more information on this worthy cause, visit www.SLVHC.org…And yes, today is very special as we honor all our Veterans and we remember “Freedom Isn’t Free”

Week in Review March 4th-8th

Another week in the books and the agents are gearing up for another busy weekend… It feels like 2005 around here. Here’s the “skinny” on this past week.

bevcenterMonday- The new Beverage Center was added in the office lobby. Now clients coming into to write a contract, close on a property, etc can help themselves to a hot cup of coffee compliments of the Keurig or get something cold to drink. Marci Mainieri was busy and brought in $1 million dollars worth of real estate she got accepted over the weekend. Great job Marci! Congrats to The Boehmer Team for closing over $5 million in business so far this year. You ladies are incredible!!!

Tuesday- Melissa Maxwell with Preferred Home Lending did a fantastic sales meeting covering, How to Figure out PMI (Private Mortgage Insurance) and monthly payments. Beverly Massetto got a property call for a $400,000 dollar listing appointment. It pays to do phones!!! That evening week 2 of Real Estate Boot Camp– 3 Must Know Statistics & Area Market Studies. A little added bonus, Deb Colburn’s homemade baked potato soup via Angie Ignatowski’s recipe… It was YUMMY!!!

esignWednesday- Our beloved company trainer Stacey Sanders did E-Signature Training here at the office. Prudential Select Properties provides electronic signature programs FREE for all of our agents. This program works with ALL our PSP forms, Real Estate Board Forms and uploaded documents.

Thursday- I learned a very long time ago that it’s better to close a home on Thursday instead of Friday. In the event something goes wrong, you have another day to clear up any issues. Well I preach it all the time to the agents and they seem to be listening. Investor’s Title Company was slammed with closings. Thank you Julie and Sue for ALWAYS taking good care of us and our clients.

dayightFriday- The Office Facebook Page, 365 Things to Do in St Charles Missouri had its busiest week ever. We reached over 25,000 people and had almost 200 new  LIKES. If you haven’t had a chance, check us out! Also, don’t forget to Spring your clocks forward this weekend for Daylight Savings Time.

Another crazy week to say the least, but there’s no wonder why “PSP IS THE PLACE TO BE”
