andWalsh-Alberici, will be closing two lanes of traffic both eastbound and westbound on Wednesday and Thursday as part of work on the new Daniel Boone Missouri River Bridge.On Wednesday, June 4 crews will close the two right lanes eastbound I-64 across the Boone Bridge from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The closures will allow crews to pour concrete for the new eastbound bridge.On Thursday, June 5 crews will close lanes westbound I-6…4 before the Boone Bridge to shift traffic. Crews will close a single right lane at 8 p.m. and then the two right lanes from 10 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. the next morning. The right lane closure will remain in place until 10 a.m. The left lane will also be closed eastbound I-64 at Research Park from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. the next morning.
When the lanes reopen, drivers will still have three through lanes on westbound I-64, but those lanes will be narrowed to 11-feet and shifted to the right. The westbound lane shift will be in place for one year.
